Getting back into plugin development!

I'm slowly getting back into plugin development, so we can get some real neat custom plugins. Please let me know if you have any ideas for stuff that the server needs / could be more fun with. :tobattle:

Paid full EV resets (we've got reduction berries now, but this might make a nice cheaper alternative for those buying Pokémon that were leveled up wrongly and have a TON of bad stats). Paid IV upgrades. Paid size changes. Paid egg reveal. Starter swap, where you are allowed to change your starter one time provided it has not evolved yet. Persistent Wonder Trade with a proper timer reset command. Possibly overwrite /ivs with something that doesn't show egg stats, and add that to egg reveal instead. Replace the champion with the last person to beat them, and maybe let players set their dialogue too. Maybe make a proper /rtp that doesn't keep breaking and doesn't think the bottom of the ocean is safe. Maybe make a /pokecolor that actually errors on invalid colors, and prints a list of valid ones. Item auctions. KeepInv zones (PvP arenas!) if RedProtect can't provide that.

Also, apparently there's an official test for a trading cards plugin happening right now. You may want to check into that before you start work on XPTC, if you're planning on doing that.

Some good simple ideas to start with there, I did check into the trading cards plugin and it's not like my one at all, so I don't think there are any worries there.

Cool ideas, except for paid IV upgrades. I think that IVs should be something that you have to work for through breeding. Otherwise breeding would be pointless inefficient as compared to buying IVs.

We're not gonna run towny, we have pixelmon nations and thats the closest thing we'll get - I think the legacy server has it but it's not actively maintained.

Damn, my pc is too slow to run pixelmon mods n stuff, anything going to happen to the legacy tribute server?

First custom plugin is live, use /bottle in-game to convert all of your XP to experience bottles!

Hey ! I am the captain of the very lost and empty legacy server (it's supposed to be empty I don't want too much division and pixelmon is kinda rad ! But we do not have any towny online atm. This will be added to the legacy server along with a ton a stuff i've been working on in the background( mostly secret), including npc's that make the world feel extremely alive and vibrant even with very few playing, that being said the server does not yet have
  • Towny
  • Playble non spammy NCP
  • NPC's added yet
  • A Balanced and maintained economy
  • Really anything fun to do except some lore
These will be the first things added along with multiple worlds and a rad museum as soon as I have the time after classes this summer.

The Goal never was to outgrow xP or really gain a different user base, once I actually have a decent server going I will probably advertise to here, when the time comes, and they can decide if they want pixelmon or survival. But the main goal of the legacy server is to always have a place for the community to go whatever happens and a place to store cool monuments ideas and history. I appreciate you and the couple others that got on and played yesterday, sorry about you not having commands when people first join they are guests, if you are ever on when I am i will put you at member which should open up a lot of the basics that are common.
